The region is located on the western side of the north island of New Zealand.

New Plymouth is the largest of it citys with a population of 47,763 people, then Hawera with 10,944 people.

Taranaki is really blessed with all the good things New zealand has to offer, the clean and green. Surrounded by clean beaches and rugged coastlines with magnificient Mount Taranaki in the center is a visual feast for any visitors.

With over 300 rivers and streams, ten lakes, and two national parks it is also a fantastic and untouched area of New Zealand for outdoor activities.
