Taranaki Outdoor Adventures is a small locally based business that fully supports our regions' Education Providers because we recognise the need for Adventure Education in the development of our youth

We believe that our youths need options to learn about themselves and their environment. Taranaki Outdoor Adventures offers sound Outdoor Education programs and courses at reasonable rates because outdoor education is our passion.

At Taranaki Outdoor Adventures we pride ourselves on the quality and professionalism of our outdoor education and training programmes. We take care with the content and delivery of each programme to maximise the experience and learning opportunities for all our clients.

We have made this saying our philosophy in our teaching methods and so make all our programs interactive, educational, fun and interesting.

Taranaki Outdoor Adventures we have recognized the need for two Outdoor Education programs that can be presented alone or incorporated into an existing course.

* Adventure Pathways Program.

* Skills Pathways Program.

The Adventure Pathways course consists of many outdoor activities and has proven to be very effective as a motivational component within other longer courses. It is aimed at a level in which all students can achieve a measure of personal growth and confidence.

The Skills Pathways Course focuses on teaching various outdoor pursuit activities to an competent level. The aim for the Skills Pathway Course is to empower students with the knowledge to perform technical skills and an awareness of the risk involved in each activity.

In doing this we hope to develop in the students not only a passion and respect for the outdoors, but also increased confidence and self esteem due to their new skills. Whatever they may choose to do in life, these skills will give them a good confidence base.

This Outdoor Education program contain numerous fun outdoor pursuit activities and is a fantastic opportunity for Schools and Private Training Establishments wanting to add further value to their programs. Each program is individually designed to suit each Education Providers' clientele and outcomes.
